For training schools and sending organisations

Get SSW students to JLPT N4, even with few Japanese teachers.

Students study on their own in the Forple app: vocabulary, grammar, writing, speaking and a monthly JLPT test. Teachers do not have to check everything. Forple shows which students to talk to this week.

Common problems at training schools

  • Few Japanese teachers, many students. No time to check every assignment.
  • Hard to tell who is ready for JLPT N4 and who is falling behind.
  • Students study at home, but you cannot see their progress.

How Forple works at a school

Students study on their own every day

JLPT and work vocabulary, grammar, and writing and speaking practice. The AI checks writing and voice recordings, so teachers do not have to correct everything.

Monthly JLPT tests, scored automatically

An N4, N3 or N2 test every month, listening included. Scores come out by section, so the class’s weak points are clear.

Teachers only see who needs help

Every week Forple lists the students who need attention, most urgent first, so teachers can talk to them right away.

The target: the SSW Japanese requirement

For Specified Skilled Worker (i), students need JLPT N4 or JFT-Basic A2. JLPT seats often fill up early. With a test every month, you can see when a student is ready to sit the exam.

Note: Employment for Skill Development from April 2027

Under the new system that replaces the Technical Intern Training Program, workers must pass JLPT N5 or JFT-Basic A1 before they start work, or take a designated Japanese course. A Japanese government survey found that about 21.7% of expected workers have no plan to reach A1 before entering Japan. Forple helps with test preparation, but it does not replace those designated courses.

A level per class

Teachers set the JLPT level for each class. Vocabulary, speaking and the monthly test follow it.

Questions from schools

Can we use it without a Japanese teacher?

Yes, even without a native Japanese teacher. For writing and the 1-minute speech, the AI points out Japanese that is wrong and shows the correct way to say it. Vocabulary and grammar practice and the monthly test are set and scored by the app. Teachers spend less time correcting each student's writing. Staff only choose who to talk to from the weekly list of students who need help.

Can Forple replace the designated course for Employment for Skill Development?

No. Forple helps students prepare for tests such as the JLPT. The courses defined by the Japanese government follow their own rules.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the number of students. Fill in the form below and we will contact you.

What do students need?

The Forple app on Android or iPhone. The app is in Indonesian and English.
